Upon the successful completion of the first robotics-assisted surgery at the Robotics Center of the Imo Specialist Hospital, Umuguma, I expressed my commendation to the team of medical practitioners whose professionalism, expertise, and dedication made this groundbreaking achievement possible.

This is a record we are determined not to lose in our healthcare system. Rather, we will continue to build on this success by expanding quality medical services to other areas of need because our people deserve access to quality and affordable healthcare.

I once again encourage all our people who have not yet subscribed to the Imo State Health Insurance Scheme to do so and take advantage of affordable healthcare services across various healthcare facilities throughout the State.
