Umahi Storms Troubled Benin–Agbor Road Today as Gridlock Leaves Travellers Stranded

Benin–Agbor Road has descended into a major traffic nightmare, with travellers and motorists reportedly stranded for hours — and some even spending the night on the road.

As the gridlock worsens, damaged and muddy sections of the highway, poor drainage and ongoing reconstruction are making movement increasingly difficult, sparking protests and growing public anger.

Now, Minister of Works David Umahi is set to storm the Benin–Agbor–Asaba Road today for an inspection, amid mounting pressure on the Federal Government to address the worsening situation.

What is behind the crisis? Why has the rehabilitation dragged on? And can Umahi’s intervention finally bring relief to stranded travellers?

These are the roads Dave and his rudderless govt ought to have fix attention on, but their insatiable quest for unbridle corruption have becloud their sense of sound judgement.
