Kamo Explains Why Funke Akindele Missed His Movie Premiere - Celebrities

 

Nigerian actor and skit maker Akinyoola Ayoola, popularly known as Kamo State, has addressed speculation surrounding Nollywood actress Funke Akindele’s absence from the premiere of his debut cinema film, Star Lomo.

Akindele’s absence from the Lagos premiere sparked reactions on social media, with some users questioning whether the development was connected to a possible disagreement between the actress and her protégé.

However, Kamo has dismissed the speculation, explaining that Akindele was simply outside the country when the premiere took place.

According to him, both parties remain on good terms and have already discussed her absence. He also said Akindele had assured him of her support for the movie.

Kamo appealed to members of the public to avoid speculating about their personal relationship, urging attention to remain on his new film.
