POWER OF VISIBILITY IN BUSINESS
Let me give you a FREE MASTERCLASS today on Strategic Visibility in Business. I actually paid to learn some of these things, but let me give you this one for free.
One mistake many people make is assuming that every successful person who posts pictures, travels, attends events or meets influential people is simply “showing off.”
No. Sometimes, what you are seeing is a deliberate business strategy.
When a major businessman appears publicly looking healthy, active, travelling, attending important meetings and engaging with influential people, those images are communicating something beyond the picture.
They communicate relevance, access, influence, relationships, stability and credibility.
Take Tony Elumelu as an example. When you see pictures of him meeting presidents, global leaders and top business executives, he doesn't necessarily need to prove to you that he knows important people.
The picture itself sends a message:
I am active.
I am connected.
I am relevant.
I am still in the room where important conversations are happening.
And whether you realise it or not, that perception can strengthen the brands and businesses associated with him.
Look at Obi Cubana too. Today, you will see him promoting brands and products that are not necessarily companies he personally owns. Why?
Because a person's visibility, reputation and audience can become economic assets of their own.
This is why even banks increasingly put their CEOs and senior executives in front of the public. Business leaders are becoming public-facing brand ambassadors because people don't only want to know the company anymore—they want to know who is behind the company.
Customers want reassurance.
Investors want confidence.
Partners want credibility.
The market wants visibility.
That is why visibility matters in today's business world.
You see a picture.
The market may see confidence.
You see showing off.
An investor may see credibility.
You see someone seeking attention.
A potential partner may see access and influence.
You see a businessman travelling around the world.
Someone else may see a business that has international exposure and relationships.
That is strategic visibility.
And please understand this: someone who has already achieved significant success doesn't necessarily need Instagram or Facebook to prove their status. Whether they post or remain quiet doesn't change what they own or what they have achieved.
But visibility can change how the market perceives them and their businesses.
The world has changed.
You can have the best product, the biggest vision, the most beautiful office and an incredible company, but if nobody knows you exist, you are leaving opportunities and money on the table.
In today's economy, attention has value. Reputation has value. Trust has value. And visibility has value.
So don't automatically look at every successful person's post through the eyes of “show off.”
Sometimes you are looking at a picture.
But the person posting it is executing a business strategy.
Visibility is no longer just vanity.
When properly managed, visibility is an asset.
Class dismissed.
