For people that have been asking, YES, Governor @jidesanwoolu has assured that the brand new Opebi-Ojota Link Bridge will be opened soon, the first image you see here is what the bridge will look like in the next few weeks.

The Landmark you will see on the bridge is in remembrance of the ‘Cane Village’ that was under the bridge before the construction started.

If you pass thru the area recently, you will see the 3rd image on ground showing that the work is going on.

So, NOLLYWOOD.. Get Ready to move from Lekki Ikoyi Bridge to Opebi-Ojota Link bridge 😁

Yesterday night we asked Mr. Governor @jidesanwoolu why the Ojota–Opebi Link Bridge is yet to be opened to the public.

He informed us about his plan and mentioned that as one of his flagship projects the bridge incorporates an aesthetic architectural element similar to the Lekki Ikoyi Link Bridge, which was designed and executed by the Lagos State Governor Candidate and Deputy Governor, Dr. Kadri Obafemi Hamzat #KOH during his tenure as Commissioner of Works.

He promised that the installation would be completed and the Ojota-Opebi Link Bridge would be open for public use within the coming weeks.
