Tobey Maguire Officiates Ex Jennifer Meyer’s Wedding to Billionaire Heir Geoffrey Ogunlesi, Weeks After Finalizing Their Divorce

(iexclusivenews)—Hollywood actor Tobey Maguire officiated the wedding of his ex-wife, Jennifer Meyer, and Nigerian music executive Geoffrey Ogunlesi in Hawaii on Saturday, October 10, 2026.

The Spider-Man star took on the unusual role as Meyer married Ogunlesi, the son of Nigerian billionaire businessman Adebayo Ogunlesi, at the Four Seasons Resort Lanai.

Photographs from the ceremony showed Maguire standing before the couple as they exchanged vows.

Their children also attended the celebration, which brought together family members and prominent entertainment figures.

The wedding attracted attention because Maguire and Meyer maintained a close relationship after their separation, continuing to co-parent their children.

Meyer, 49, is a jewelry designer and founder of the Jennifer Meyer Jewelry brand. She married Maguire in 2007, and the couple announced their separation in 2016.

Meyer filed for divorce in 2020. The former couple reportedly reached an agreement to finalize their divorce in September 2026, shortly before her wedding to Ogunlesi.

Meyer and Ogunlesi began dating in 2023 and became engaged in August 2024. They welcomed a daughter in June 2026, adding a new member to their blended family.

Meyer has previously spoken warmly about Maguire’s role as a father and their relationship after separation.

Their continued cooperation has allowed the family to share important occasions despite the end of their marriage.

Who is Geoffrey Ogunlesi?

Geoffrey Ogunlesi, also known as Geoff Ogunlesi, is a music executive and founder and chief executive of The Ogunlesi Group.

He is the son of Adebayo Ogunlesi, the Nigerian lawyer and investment banker whose infrastructure investment firm, Global Infrastructure Partners, was acquired by BlackRock in 2024.

Why We Floated The Naira by Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Governor Micheal Olayemi Cardoso - Politics

Image
The Governor, Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, Mr Olayemi Cardoso, has said that the apex bank under him took the bold step of floating the Naira in the foreign exchange market in order to bring the official exchange rate closer to market reality. About  three CBN Governors before Cardoso had toyed with the floatation option when they faced constant excess demand for foreign exchange and exchange rate pressures. They all abandoned the option due to fear of massive depreciation of the value and the contagion effect across the macroeconomic space. But Cardoso, speaking for the first time on his journey on the saddle so far and focusing on the turbulence in the financial market following his assumption of office a year ago, explained that the floatation policy was meant to address the disparity between the official and parallel rates which encouraged arbitrage and speculation, eroding trust in the market.
